ALBANY — Meet Sofia Corts, Bethlehem’s rising star.
Corts, 17, a self-taught musician, actress and visual artist, is determined to bring joy into the wider sphere through her many gifts, but most specifically, music.
“I don’t have a purpose if I’m not an artist in some sort of way because of how I am,” Corts said. “I’ve always been hardwired with the arts, and that’s what makes sense to me.”
BETHLEHEM — Most high school students spend summers working part-time jobs or hanging out with friends. But singer-songwriter Sofia Corts is spending hers working on a debut album and honing her live performance chops.

From high school musicals to the rock and roll stage, Local 518 singer songwriter, Sofia Corts has her sight set on bigger and bigger things, and based on what we were able to witness in the studio, we see those bigger things becoming a reality.
Sofia is a very determined and focused young woman. And she has the music pedigree to give her the foundation she will need to succeed. We look forward to a whole lot more from Sofia Corts, and you should too.
